With the upcoming release of Mega Man 9, which I'm highly anticipating, I came up with a new comic strip idea. I don't actually know the Mega Man 9 release date yet, because Nintendo doesn't like to announce those things until it actually happens, and they don't seem to want to give us Americans Mega Man 2 yet for the Virtual Console, which is annoying, but hey, I'll save my rambling for when it actually comes out.

Actually, when both of those games finally do come out, I'll probably be so distracted, I won't make a blog post or update to the site until I beat those games (which may be a couple of hours, it may be a couple of weeks, who knows...).

I've been searching online for weeks now trying to find out the release dates, and I've also been keeping my eye on some of my favorite nerdy webcomics, like Penny-Arcade, xkcd, and Ctrl+Alt+Del, to make sure they didn't make a comic strip about Mega Man 9 before me. I am pretty sure they haven't yet. Phew.

There is a new Bootleg comic strip up, called “Nad's plants.” Dan, who lives in Bermuda now with Mandi, (they both graduated from Bentley College with me) has his own food blog, The Food in My Beard, and this comic strip is sort of about his love for food, growing vegetables, produce, spices, etc.

If you haven't noticed already, in every single comic strip there are hidden surprises, mouseovers, links, jokes, and some even have additional frames. This strip is no different. See if you can find the secret jokes and link to Dan's website. Enjoy.

I have been drawing since I could pick up a pencil. It's one of my favorite things in life. One of my other favorite things in life is laughing. I try to experience or do as many things as possible that are on My Love List in any given day, but some just can't be done. I can't celebrate Halloween every day, but I can apply my Berry Lip Balm every day.

It's impossible to put my lists in a perfect order because of 2 things: 1 - Nothing's perfect, and 2 - I both hate and love so many things.
From now on, for the Hate/Love Lists, I'll post in groups of 5, and after the top 20, only make 1 or 2 things on the lists interactive/clickable.

I fucking HATE Bugs, Arachnids, and Cats... but not as much as Hiccups. Yes, I HATE Hiccups more. They ruin everything including laughing, speaking, and having sex.
